Dr. William Musslewhite

Dr. William Musslewhite an owner and operator of North Shore Animal Hospital. After graduating CSU, he moved to California where he practiced small animal medicine for several years. He moved back to Loveland, CO in the 1980’s where he pursued his dreams of owning his own vet hospital.

He lives a quiet life with his wife and children. In his spare time he can be found socializing with friends and family.

Dr. Caleb Walker

Dr. Walker, an owner and operator of North Shore Animal Hospital, moved from his home state of Michigan in 2000 to attend Colorado State University.  Dr. Walker earned a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, and a DVM degree from Colorado State’s world-renowned College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Walker’s professional interests include surgery and dentistry.  Outside of the hospital, Dr. Walker enjoys fly-fishing, golfing, and most importantly, spending time with his wife, Kyla, and their 2 children.

Dr. Kristin Doss

Dr. Kristin Doss is a 1995 graduate from University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine. She and her family moved from Wisconsin to Colorado in the summer of 2015. Dr. Doss has practiced for more than 20 years in small animal medicine. She enjoys many aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, and looks forward to serving a new group of clients and their pets. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

Office Manager
Renee is our Office Manager and has been working at North Shore since 1997. She has 4 dogs, 4 cats, goats, horses, chickens and cattle. She has had animals since a young age and always knew she had an important role in the care and love of all species. In her spare time she is out in the arena riding one of her many horses. She is also a competitive ranch sorter.



She has been working at North Shore since August 1999. She has 1 dog "Dixie", 4 cats, 4 horses, chickens and lambs. She has previously raised cattle. She has always been interested in animals. From a young age she knew she wanted to make a living working with them. She finds her joy in caring for all types of animals.



Lillianne has been working at North Shore since May 2010. She is owned by 3 cats. She grew up loving animals and is fascinated by the behavior and personality traits of each and every animal. She enjoys spending time with her nephews.



Karie has been a veterinary technician since 1998. She is originally from Northern California and studied animal science at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Her family consists of her husband Nick, their three dogs, Dottie (the crazy Australian Shepherd), Cricket (the goofy Newfoundland), Winston (the handsome Golden Retriever) and their kitties, Lawnie Mow (a bit of a naughty kitty) and Foo Foo(the princess of the house).


Amanda has been working at North Shore since 2008. She has 3 dogs and a cat. When she isn't at work she enjoys reading while snuggling with her furry babies. She also enjoys going to adventures with her two children.


Jamie has been working at North Shore since October 2010. She has one dog; "Nana" and 2 cats; "Max" and "Cali". She enjoys hiking and spending as much time outdoors as she can.



Megan has been working in the veterinary field since 2016 as both a receptionist and vet assistant. She enjoys seeing new pet parents with their furry family members, especially puppies and kittens. When Megan is not working, she is either in school or out enjoying Colorado with her mixed breed dog, Parker.


Kennel Staff
Jacob has been working at North Shore since June of 2016. He has 2 dogs and is attending the Vet Tech program at Front Range Community College. He enjoys writing and drawing. He would chose to be at the beach every day if he could. He would really enjoy working with sharks and or snakes after graduation.



Hannah has been working here since Spring of 2020. She has a german shepherd and a mustang horse. She was raised around animals at their farm, which sparked her interest in animals. She also showed animals in 4-H for 6 years, including chickens, ducks, goats and cattle. In her free time you'll find her somewhere with her mustang or in the mountains hiking and camping. She knew when she was little that she would be in the Veterinary field. She is currently finding a college to pursue taking Vet Tech classes.


Alyssa has been working in the veterinary field for 5 years. She has 1 dog and 1 cat. On her days off you can find her in the mountains.
